<p>i was just wondering because i didnt get into the business school and was thinking about doing an appeal. i already got into U of Michigan, U of Texas, U of Indiana Bloomington, a which are ranked amongst the top 20 for business schools while UCI is not. so i kind of thought i would get in (but i got into my second choice major instead)
i had a 4.2w, 4.0uw, 2130, 790 math sat2s, 690 ushistory, 400 hrs of community service</p>
<p>anybody think i should appeal?</p>
<p>Uh, Business Information Management is an interdisplinary major - Bren School of Information and Computer Science and Merage School of Business. I was accepted under the Bren school, but BIM is also an impacted major… so I’ll just post my stats anyway?</p>

AP tests: Chem (4), Euro (4)
Volunteer every weekend; district+school level positions; vice president of three clubs; founder of one club, etc.</p>

<p>I only applied to a few schools if I can recall correctly, but I was also accepted to UCSD, but it was as a winter admit, (which turned out to be that they bumped up all the winter admits to fall admits, but I didn’t turn in my SIR, so it was too late for me), I was rejected by LA, Cal, Davis, </p>

<p>I received an email from the business admin. department after I was accepted and it said that it only enrolls about 100 students every year… but don’t let this stop you! I would appeal if you truly wanted to go to UCI!</p>

<p>have any of you been notified of acceptance into the campus honors program? so far, i haven’t heard of any uci business administration applicants who have been admitted to CHP. can someone confirm this/correct me?</p>

<p>@compaq10, i would gladly choose Ann Arbor over UCI, but im from CA, so its cheaper to attend and the weather is much nicer. but now im not considering UCI at all, so im not appealing.</p>

<p>I was accepted into the business admin. major, and I didn’t receive any information on the honors program either. Hopefully they are delaying this for business majors!</p>
<p>CHP is chosen through the school you’re accepted in (at least I think this is what the letter says). I don’t think there’s one for the business school.</p>
