Business Attire for TIDB

For a TIDB class, it says when making an oral presentation, students must wear business attire. In order to pack properly, would anyone know if that means jacket and tie?
Thanks.

I believe I read somewhere that dress shirt and tie is suitable enough, but feel free to bring jacket and tie.

It typically means a nice pair of khakis or a skirt.

Also, warning to people: if you are doing any sort of presentation (aside from a language class) dress up. I was in a Sociology class once. We had to go up and give a 5:00 presentation on a paper we wrote. I just happened to be heading off to Riley after the class and was in gym shorts/T-shirt/flip flops, but otherwise made up. The teacher chastised me in front of the entire class, despite not mentioning a formal dress code. (The rest of the people just wore normal non-gym clothing.)

Thanks for the feedback!

It depends on the professor, but in my class we had two presentations a semester. The first was more business casual (khakis and button down for boys, dress pants or skirt and flats for girls) and then second presentation was business formal (suit and tie for boys, skirt/dress and heels for girls).
