I know my academics aren’t great…but I’m hoping to be accepted for my EC’s.
I’m planning on majoring in business…not exactly sure which one yet.

Thanks in advance :)

We don’t have a business major. I guess the somewhat business-related majors are [Economics, Economics & Accounting, Economics & Mathematics, Financial Mathematics & Statistics](<a href=“UC Santa Barbara General Catalog - Economics”>UC Santa Barbara General Catalog - Economics), and Actuarial Science. (The last two are offered by the Statistics department.)

I’m not sure if anyone can tell you how “strong” the departments or majors are, without knowing much about other schools, but I can say that the Economics majors in general have somewhat competitive admissions (in terms of getting through pre-major courses successfully).

I run away from chances threads, but I’d guess that you would probably get in, looking at what you’ve put here. I’m very hesitant to guess things like that - all anyone can do is compare your numbers to the averages, and you could do that yourself on Cappex or the CollegeBoard website.
