Business & Comm. Major or Education Major?

Hello!

I am currently a Junior in high school and I would appreciate some assistance with my feasible plans.

I am very interested in pursuing a dual major: Broadcast Journalism & Business Administration concentration in Marketing/Advertising. My class mates compliment me on me public speaking skills and they often say that I would make an amazing marketer. I also aspire to take my projects one step forward and make video news casts for my current events in history class.

I truthfully fathom that I will have to "pay my dues" before I make it "big." I am willing to enter these competitive fields and work my way up to starting my own catering company/event production company and work for the today show as a daily corespondent. I understand that these are far reach goals, but I'm know to be the determined, aspiring, hard-working student who's willing to work his way all the way to the top. I'm known to make the fantasy a reality.

My second plan is to enter the education fields and become either a high school biology and chemistry teacher OR high school english teacher. I understand that this job is a polar opposite of the one listed above. I want to make a positive impact on students' lives and allow them to dream and make their dreams a reality in the future.
All I want to do in my life is successfully make a difference in my community's lives. I cannot imagine going through in my life with my passionate potential and not utilize it to it's maximum point.

What is your outlook on these career paths? Which one do you think is best in regards to success, money, satisfaction, and worthwhile journey?

Any other input would be greatly appreciated.

Not to be mean but we’re not exactly the best people to ask. We don’t personally know you, so take any advice given with a grain of salt.

So you have a few different paths that you seem to be favoring right now. When I am faced with a problem like that, I try to make a list/flow chart thing with the facts. I would write each choice down and then write down things about each choice. I would do some research and try to job shadow if possible to gain more information.
