<p>I’m considering applying to Alabama but I’m worried that I would only receive the Collegiate Scholarship in which I know I wouldn’t be able to afford attending since I’m out of state. But I’m wondering if anyone knows what other scholarships are offered through the business department (The website just states the amounts vary.) I have a 28 ACT and 4.0w GPA. <p>Alabama is always wanting to increase its OOS numbers. Last year, a friend of mine whose child was from PA applied with stats below what was on the scholarship website for UA Scholars, and he was surprised to get all of his OOS portion taken away (I think they gave him $14k per year). Now, I’m not promising anything; I’m just retelling what happened in this one case that I know of.</p>
<p>I dont’ know if that was because they wanted specifically more students from PA, or if that would have happened if he was from - say - Missouri or wherever.</p>
<p>Anyway, the deadline is a week from now, and Thanksgiving holidays are this week, so apply TODAY. That way you can get your email with logon info to apply for scholarships in time. (A couple of days after applying you’ll get an email with log on info, you’ll use that to immediately apply for scholarships - super easy - no essays - no recs )</p>
