Hey guys I really like the website and I just signed up because I am somewhat unsure of which path to take. I am currently at FIU.

My original plan had been to major in international business and minor in economics. After completing a lot of research I believed the international business was too general or common of a major , similar to Business Management. To what extent is this true ? My ideal goal is to work internships , transfer to a great, ivy, business school hopefully in new york and up to there I am yet unsure of what exact career path to take. The idea of wall street and investment banks really attracts me but so does any sort of travel/international -esque.

After a lot of research I have decided to change my major to Finance and stack that with a double major in marketing, and keep the economics minor. How does this add up for career opportunities/ what employers and human resources are looking for?

I have also read numerous research that to bring something different to the table, double major in economics instead. Would this be a better idea, and then minoring in marketing?

Obviously I have salary and career opportunity / competition in mind. I am currently in my 4th semester, about to finish all my prerequisites, my GPA was a 3.0 but should be in the 3.3 ~ range come summer. What does this mean for my transferring opportunities?

Thank You in advance for the replies
