Is it really difficult to double major Business Econ and stats? do many people even double major with bus econ?

They often take the accounting minor. Google "Cis study area ucla" and look up the requirements for both. As a new Bruin, I'd look at the lower-division courses especially to check if any possible classes overlap. In any case Stats 10 will count for a GE and buy you some time in the future to decide what you want to do. But, there are a lot of BizEcon/Accounting types because it takes just a few more classes to complete the minor.

but is it difficult to double major?

yup, also not really recommended. It isn't not worth enough to work terribly hard and can't really concentrate at both after you graduate Just OP. Only if you want to do Finance in the future, double major is a little bit more reasonable.

ok.... anyone know what % of bizecon majors minor in accounting?

'difficult' - why would you want to double major? pure intellectual curiosity? ultimately, for professional purposes where at one point you suddenly realize that the slave-work you had suffered through would not get you that so desired promotion or the recognition that you deserve seeing that your education comprises two lines of your resume?

Yeah. It's definitely a big misconception that double-majoring will get you that huge "leg-up." In business, it's really all about connections and luck. I would say go ahead and double major if you're really interested in that subject.

well i'm planning to double major in english...which is only possible if i take 4 classes every single quarter...and cuz i skipped out through all the pre-reqs for english in high school + have the lvl 5 language...

in my case i am, and it's a big gpa booster XD

geez, the negativity. its just a question, folks.

and they answered your question, relax.
