business economics

Hello everyone. i was admitted to UCLA as a physics major as a freshman applicant. i was wondering if I completed the prerequisites for the biz econ major (assuming a high gpa) if I could switch, or if i would have to be stuck with physics. Thanks! would appreciate some insight

There are very specific requirements to get into the Business Econ program. I would go to the UCLA Business Econ website. The specific requirements to get accepted into the major are listed and there is a calculator to calculate the grades needed in certain classes (several math, econ and accounting courses) – overall GPA is also factored in. Read it very carefully and talk to a counselor to validate your assumptions. Certain econ classes are weighted heavily, and the general primary score you need for key classes is 3.3 (B+ average). Good luck!

anyone can switch after the finish the prereq classes. You are not stuck with physics. I’ve heard most students switch majors 2 or more times.
