Business Economis -Accounting Vs. State University (San Jose) Accounting

Hi all,
I am a upper division transfer guy. How is UCSB'S Biz-Econ. Accounting minor?
Do you guys think for accounting program, "the prestige of school does not matter?"
UCSB's party school reputation really makes me headache that I can barely decision on SB, but going to a state university such as San Jose really makes my not comfortable.
I live close to San Jose City, but money is not an important issue for me.
Which one would you guys choose (I KNOW THIS IS A REALM OF UCSB) based on accounting program, SB or San Jose State?

Thank you for reading,:) :(

All schools party. The reason it has that “party school reputation” is that UCSB is right next to a small town called Isla Vista, a town made up of nearly ALL college students from UCSB and UBCC, so you are bound to have parties. Yes, it can get pretty intense but its easily avoidable and it isn’t a party school if you don’t party at all. There are plenty of other things to do both on and off campus to fit your lifestyle. A party school isn’t defined as a school that just parties all day long and forgoes academics. While there are people here that party all day long, the majority of them party as hard as they study. They know what is important and learn to prioritize. You have to remember UCSB ain’t a joke when it comes to academics. Its a top 50 ranked university in many publications and is serious when it comes to learning.

I read from someplace that prestige of school does not matter when it comes to business econ w/ accounting because all programs teach the same thing. However, it is always better to go to a school with a recognizable name. I wouldn’t put too much weight on it though.
