What are the schools in the U.S. that have integrated business programs (where you can get your bachelors and MBA in 5 years)?
Too many to list.
An MBA right after undergrad is a useless waste of money.
Most top MBA programs look for students who have at least 2 - 5 years of meaningful work experience. Think about what you would gain by getting a 5 year MBA versus a BS.
About 5 or 6 years ago, US News–if I recall correctly–published an article noting that some employers preferred MBAs with little to no work experience so that the company could train & develop MBA hires in its company culture.
A five year MBA might useful in lieu of a double major such as computer science & business.
Most MBA programs prefer students with two years to five years of post undergraduate work experience so that class discussions are enriched by examples from real world experience & so that students may understand academic concepts’ real world applications.
Schools which offer 5 year joint degrees consisting of an undergraduate degree & an MBA may be doing so primarily for the tuition & fees revenue rather than educating top business executives. Nevertheless, a 5 year MBA & BA/BS may be justified in certain situations.
P.S. Not sure of the definition of “Business Integrated Programs”. If you are referring to a BS in business along with an MBA, then I question the value of such an offering.
Are you a US resident or an international student?
Why would you want an MBA without the prior work experience?
Undergrad business programs are better than before so an MBA isn’t as necessary or respected as it used to be. Plus an MBA without some relevant work experience isn’t as meaningful as it could be.
