<p>anyone know any good internships i can do as a high school student? I get good grades and have a lot of free time. Fencing season just ended and i want to do a good internship. Anyone know any distinguished (or even not so distinguished) companies that allow internships OR volunteer work from high school students?</p>

<p>There's a program called developmental school for the youth(DSY). It is for underprivileged youth in NYC. If you aren't poor, then find a girlfriend whose father is an MD at a hedgefund.</p>
<p>Sorry for being so blunt, but there are not very many business related internships. I suggest that you hone your MS Office skills and continue your search. The best thing that you can do is network. Rotary clubs would be the best place to start.</p>
<p>Simple tip when networking with experienced professionals, don't act like you know it all and be confident at using lingo from the field you're interested in.</p>
