My D was thinking about applying to one of the Claremont Consortium colleges. She is thinking about majoring in Business and/or computer science. It doesn’t appear from the website that any of these schools have a business major. Am I missing something?
Many of the business-major type folks at the 5Cs seem to end up with some variation of an Econ major. I know at Pomona there are Math/Econ majors, and their Environmental Analysis and Public Policy Analysis majors also have Econ concentrations. In addition to Econ, Pitzer has several business-oriented majors like Science & Management and Organizational Studies. CMC’s Econ majors have the option of a BA/MA program within its own Robert Day School, and undergrads at all of the 5Cs are eligible for accelerated advanced degree programs at Claremont Graduate University (including MBAs from the Drucker School of Management). All of the campuses collaborate on career development activities, including recruiting events.
