Didn’t know about MODA till this morning. Way cool. But very confused here - are those students actually designing what they are wearing at these shows, or are the showcasing local designers? Was very impressed with the outfits!
That looks creative and fun!
Looks like it’s all students, captions say ‘2 dozen student designers’ and ‘students strut down catwalk.’
@JHS the BA MA in IR is actually part of the Dep of Political Science via its Committee on International Relations, though you can also do something similar in Harris via an MPP with an international focus. Again, there’s a lot of overlap of content between the divisions. The BA/CIR program is indeed still hell on earth, like you I don’t know anyone who’s ever done the BA/MPP program.
Ah, yet another UChicago program known to be “hell on earth.” Brings tears to my eyes.
Speaking of fashion, meet fashion model and UChicago Scientist and grad student Susan Finkbeiner
She reminds me of U of London’s “hottest professor” Pietro Bosseli.
The JV “guys” at Booth would avoid teaching undergrads as a career-ending move.
So many Hutchins devotees when he really weakened the university that Harper built. If the U of C had had another Harper instead of Hutchins, the U of C would be where Stanford is now.
Harper, BTW, would have approved of the business major. Under his watch, the U of C started one of the first undergrad business programs in the country.
