Good EC’s
Planning to apply in NJ,NY,PA and Connecticut. What colleges would you suggest.

In no particular order. Boston College, Bentley, Lehigh, Bucknell, Gettysburg, Villanova. I kind of gave you a Northeast and Mid-Atlantic answer, but I hope this info gets you started. Good luck in your search and as you continue your search you may want to share more specifics on your stats and preference for schools. For example LAC or Uni. There are a lot of smart, helpful folks on this forum that can add value to your quest.

Although it’s almost an hour beyond the Connecticut border, I’d begin such a list with Babson College in Wellesley, MA. Others I’d consider would be Bucknell, Fordham, Lehigh, Rochester, Skidmore, and Villanova.

How much can you afford? Big or small? City or rural?

Your in-state options will typically be cheapest. You might get merit from some of these schools but not sure it will be enough unless you’re full-pay.

Went through this two years ago with S20.

In Pa. Pitt, PSU (if you don’t mind direct admit), Temple (liked Fox especially if you get into Honors). Also liked Drexel and the co-op program. Maybe Bucknell, St. Joe’s or Villanova. I think all these would be matches or safeties.

Fordham was in his top 3. I liked it more than I thought I would. Especially Rose Hill campus. You could try NYU but it would be a reach.

I would consider Boston. Great city for college students.

My oldest went to Rutgers business school and had a great experience, my youngest is going in the fall. His twin got great merit from Temple, UMASS, Temple, UCONN and St. Joe’s (nothing from Rutgers, in state), but is going to Clemson. My 23 year old was a finance major at TCNJ and is doing well.

UConn has a great undergrad business program, and has lots of alums from Boston to New York which really matters in job recruiting. I strongly recommend it.
