Business Major/Minor question

Going back to school this September looking to major in Business. First off, I am leaving the military next month and have a good job lined up in the Electrical/Electronics field with everything, good pay, benefits, etc... and I will be using the GI Bill to get my Bachelors so it will all be free so I figure I might as well go for something that will help me go into my own business someday which is the final goal. So my question is with the safe job and free education up to a bachelors what degree would benefit me most if I were interested in running a business somewhere down the line?

I don’t think you can ever go wrong with accounting. You will learn how to read financial statements, cost your product or service, and have insight into the tax code. Also, you may look into entrepreneurship which will give your more of an overview of the various disciplines which will help you run a small business. You might major in one or minor in the other depending on your colleges offerings. I also think a class in human resource management would be helpful to the small business owner…
