business major

I was wondering if a business major might face some discrimination in the application process. I've read that one's specific major doesn't really matter in respect to law school admissions, but I also know that they are looking for students who take more analytical courses. Do you think I'll be fine by taking 3 or 4 upper div classes in other departments (Political Science, Philosophy, Econ, etc)? I am also in the position of double majoring in Political Science, but doing both majors might have an adverse affect on my GPA. I would have a heavier course load each semester. Should I double major at the cost of my GPA, or should I stick to business with handful of writing/ reading classes thereby maintaining a higher GPA?

To my knowledge, business is very analytical with accounting and finance and such. The problem is that some law schools like to see you take theoretical courses and not just practical. You don’t need to double major, but definitely take some theoretical courses. In any case, you’ll be fine in terms of major.
