<p>I’m a Philosophy Major @ SC…totally unrelated to Business but I picked this up as a Minor or may switch it to Business Law</p>
<p>My question is Marshall is a good school for Business but what does a Minor really do?</p>
<p>I’m planning on attending Law School and this “Minor” is suppose to be my just in case stuff happens</p>

<p>can't hurt. you'll get familiar with areas like accounting, economics, finance, marketing, operations, etc. if it's a good minor, you should have a well rounded concept of different arenas in business, and a good lawyer should be able to at least follow a conversation about balance sheets and rate hedging. i'm an econ major with a management minor, and i find the two very complementary. go for it.</p>
