<p>Are there students at UT who are majoring in business, but going the medical school route? Can someone explain how this works and if it will be difficult taking classes in Mccombs while doing the med school pre-reqs? I'm considering doing this but i'm not sure if it will be somewhat like having a minor or double major. If its going to be a heavy load, can a student take the med school pre-reqs at a CC during the summer?</p>
<p>a student can take med school pre req’s at a CC, but you can only take a certain amount before you reach your max transfer limit. keep in mind above all your business classes, you’ll have to maintain at least a 3.5 average GPA in science to be considered competitive in med school applicants. </p>
<p>you have bio 1 + 2
general chem 1+2
organic chem 1+2
physics 1+2
and math, most likely calc 1+2</p>
<p>its basically doing a double major… if you can keep up and do all that plus your business in mccombs, all the props to you. it’ll be hard, but i’m sure someone has done it before.</p>
