Business Program.

I live in Orange County, Westminster to be exact, and everyone the goes to Cal State Fullerton says that their business program is top ranked in the nation, or country. When they say that what comes to my head is: what about Cornell, UC Berkeley, USC, UCLA, Georgetown, Harvard, Stanford? And other's as well. How can they say they are ranked in the nation, or even California, when there are elite programs that surpass CSUF. I'm not hating, I'm just trying to get facts straight because I want to attend a top-notch business program. I'm currently in the process of deciding where to attend college. I got accepted to the following schools, all for Business economics, or Business administration: UCLA, USC, UCI, Cal State Fullerton, Chapman, Berkeley, Cal poly Pomona, & Santa Clara. Help.

You already got accepted into fullerton? when did you apply?
I’m applying for their business program also, the accounting option what did you apply for?
what are your stats
you got into some other great colleges.

Well, this was last year. I’m currently attending UC Berkeley as a business major; I do not regret it at all. I asked because alot of CSUF students say their business program is the best program in CA, but I disagree. This is what we say at school: UC schools produce leaders, CEO’s, researchers; where as, Cal State produces workers. I just don’t know why people say CSUF is the best. What do you think?

All the business majors I know say Cal State Fullerton has one of the best programs.

That line you quoted just sounds like UC elitism to me.

What is the acceptance rate for the business program? I just got accepted with this comment: You are admitted conditionally completion of all courses in progress including any Visual and Performing arts course(s) with “C” grades or better. and i was just wondering if that meant if I barely got in?

@ youngfolks That means you got in, on the basis that you complete all your senior year classes with C’s or higher. I got that same comment too on my portal, early November actually, and I got my acceptance letter that following week.

@unseeliesatyr What do you mean? UC schools are elite in comparison to cal states. Cal poly Slo, & Pomona, are an exception. Why does it take a higher gpa to get into a UC school? Why do some UC schools have their own hospitals? Why dos the USA rankings rank most UC’s in the top 100 in the world & no cal state schools? Why do Some UC’s have law schools? Does this mean that a UC student will always be better qualified for a job in comparison to a cal state? No. A degree is a piece of paper. But, look at where the UC schools are located, look at their connections, look at their reputation.

Sounds to me like you don’t want to go to CSUF. If name is all you care about then go to USC. Cal Poly is known for engineering and science. The best ones on your list for what major you want would be chapman university and CSUF. The UCs are known for medicine, law, ect.

I got accepted into business program at Fullerton as well. Does anyone know how their entertainment management program is?
