I'm looking for some safety schools with undergrad business/finance schools. I live in Minnesota, and have about 5 schools I know I'm going to apply to, but of those, only UMN-TC could be considered a safety. I'd appreciate any help, and I'm looking for financial as well as academic safeties. I'm not rich and not poor, but I am at somewhat of a loss as to where to look. My stats are:

ACT: 35
PSAT: 218
GPA: 3.98 UW no weighting at my school
Average extracurriculars
Lots of work experience
Essay will likely be decent, nothing special

Thank You!

Have your parents said how much they’ll pay each year? Have you had them run the NPCs and agree to pay what the NPC results indicate??

If not, do so.

The “not rich, not poor” crowd is often blown away by how much colleges expect them to pay. That crowd often doesnt have college funds set aside, so paying the “family contribution” out of current income becomes a stretch or even impossible.

Let us know what your parents say.

you have the stats for large merit at some schools.

Tell us more about what you like in a college…

large
small
rural
city
quiet
rah rah
cold/snowy weather
warm/sunny weather
are Catholic schools ok?

You would probably get full tuition at CUNY Baruch (an amazing business school) through the Macaulay Honors college. I highly reccomend it. Even as an OOS student, CUNYs are fairly low cost for both OOS and in state students.
