This may have already been addessed on this forum BUT…

I was accepted to BC in the college of arts and sciences. However, I really want to be a business major. Current or past BC students-is it hard to tranfer to the business school at BC? and what are my chances? If it is very difficult, would it be wise to go elsewhere? HELP HELP HELP. if you could help ASAP, that would be great. Thanks.

I went to the admitted eagle day on the 15th and this was a question that someone asked the dean of the corroll school of business and he said that it is very difficult to transfer and they only admit like a handful of people that try to switch. I would call and ask the people in the admissions office, but I was under the impression that it is unlikely. Sry, I hope this helps.

You just need to call and tell the person who answers you want to switch. Then they said it was fine and had him email his admissions counselor so they had it in writing. Done.

I went to the (Honors) Admitted Eagle Day and my parents asked an adcom how I could switch A&S to CSOM. He said it was very simple and I could do it right then and there if I wanted to. And that was from Honors to Honors, which I would have guessed would be more strict.

yea, you are right now that i think about it.
irishblues: some of the schools have a little bit lower admit rates... i think CSOM is a percent or two lower than the average for BC as a whole. i don't think it will matter too much though.

Ok I was just wondering. Oh and slightly off-topic but my dad just told me to pick a day to come up and visit BC; probably be visiting in June. Pretty excited :).
