Business Schools Blamed for the Decline of the US Industrial Base

If the US ever did slip into a deep, prolonged depression – you can just imagine the hellish chaos that would start sweeping the country. the first people targeted will be those with means – looters and rioters will make their way to the wealthy neighborhoods like flies to s–t.

Of course if you have serious means, you’ll be long gone chilling out in some chalet in the Swiss Alps or catching some rays on a remote island in the south Pacific. Otherwise you can imagine basic law and order breaking down, some kind of marshall law instituted via military / national gaurd and things getting very medieval in the streets.

It doesn’t need to be a deep “depression”. Just a 30-40 year cycle of below average growth. We’ve already had 10 years of no job growth. See, if we don’t grow and everyone else does it we kind of become second world by default…

Japan just did it for 2 decades (of course, they haven’t had their population grow by a significant amount, which lessens the pain significantly).
