I will be doing 1 year (hopfully) of community college next year, then i want to go to a school in NYC. Right now im doing just general business until i make my decision next year before i get done my 1 year of CC. Anyways, im looking for a college in NYC (Manhattan,Bronx,Brooklyn, or Queens) that has dorms or student apts. What would be the cheapest??

One more question. My grades were bad in high school, and thats the reason for community college, but im going to be working very hard in cc so i can get to a good college. I was told colleges wont even look at high school if u do community college, so around what time should i apply to any colleges cause if i do it early, ill only have 1 or 2 marking periods. How does this work???

^ I dont think so

NYU Stern
But er its not exactly cheap, sorryy.

CUNY Baruch is probably the best cheap business school in NY. No drms at CUNY though but students find cheap apts and live together.

St. John's? NYU and Fordham are expensive, but are both in NYC with dorms.

Don't overlook Pace University. Their Manhattan campus in near Wall Street and they also have a Westchester campus. Very well respected business program.

Rutgers is very close to NYC, NYU-Stern is the best business school in the city, Columbia's econ department is very well respected, Fordham is alright. Fairfield has an ok business department and is very close to NYC

IF pace campus tho is as crummy as it was 5-8 years ago(my sister looked into the city one) i wouldnt go

Rutgers really is not "very close" to New York at all. It's atleast a half hour away, more like 45 to 50 minutes away.

it takes like 30 minutes by train to penn.

NYU,Columbia,St. Johns, Fordham, Queens College, Brooklyn College, Pace, Marymount Manhattan.
