Business Schools: Marshall vs Stern vs Mendoza vs Haas

Under the assumption that I will..work hard in college to be accepted to Haas..

USC Marshall (full ride) vs NYU Stern (full ride) vs Notre Dame Mendoza (1.5k a year) vs Berkeley Haas (5k a year) UNDERGRADUATES!

Which business school will be the best for me?
I personally prefer Marshall or Stern, and I am Korean who prefers to be around a large Asian population (which is a dilemma only for Notre Dame).

I'm hoping to work more in the management field but if I have to, I won't mind working in the finances field at Wall Street.

I need to commit soon, so please please help me out!
Thank you in advance!!

I don’t know much about those schools but if finance and management are your interests, I would suggest NYU for its location and the full ride will obviously make things easier. Good luck in your decision!

All are good programs. Go with the one with the best feel to you.

honestly all are amazing schools and congrats for getting into all! if i was in your position I would have to go with either usc or nyu because you are getting full rides from both. you’re extremely lucky to get that! also i don’t know your situation, but not having to pay back any loans or spend money on college is insanely awesome and i would take advantage of that. usc and nyu are both awesome schools and have great business programs too! also i know usc has a large asian population, because i have visited a few times, not too sure about nyu since i haven’t been.

i’m not sure where you live, in what state i mean, but if you live in CA then i would go with usc because it’s a beautiful campus, has a large asian population and pretty highly regarded as a school in general. not to say nyu isn’t, because its also a really good school. good luck with your decision, all the best! :)

I’d go with either Stern or Marshall since they are full-rides, Berkeley is good, but you’d have to apply to the major later in college. Notre Dame is a good school to but it is far from major cities, unlike the others. Personally, I’d go with Marshall because I like California, plus its more college-like than, but thats just me, try and visit all of them, or at least the two full-rides and just continue to hear more of what people are saying.

Hey are you an intl student? Mind sharing how you got your full ride from marshall and stern? And I think stern > marshall, and given that both schools have given u the same deal, the choice is quite obvious. That is, unless you’re really into california’s weather etc like the others have said

Thanks for the replies!
I’m leaning towards Stern and Marshall and right now I live in So Cal so my parents prefer USC! :stuck_out_tongue:

And I’m not an international student but for USC, I got the Presidential scholarship which is half-tuition and Cal-grant and Pel-grant as well as Universoty grant for financial situations :stuck_out_tongue:
And for NYU, I got Pel-grant and Stern Scholarship which is a mixture of financial aid and merit-based aid. But I used to be an international student but since you’ll probably won’t be considered for financial aid, which is more advantageous for your admission, you prob won’t get as much grant from the college? Unless you’re an real exceptional student and get all the scholarships merit-based!. :P
