Business to Industrial Engineering?

Hi, I'm a rising senior currently attending top 3 BBA program. However, I do not find the program intellectually stimulating at all..many soft-skill stuff that I consider relatively unimportant. The only area that I am interested in is Operations. So instead of the supposed MBA track, I have picked up a computer science minor and started thinking about a masters in Industrial Engineering program.

My GPA is around 3.6, relatively unimpressive for a business major, but that's because of the CS classes I take. I do ok in them, not spectacular (B Average, have a few As, but I also got a C+ in the most recent algorithm class.. ouch), and I wonder if that would hurt my chance in applying to IE masters. Also, I have no "research" experience per se, but I would be working at a very reputable consulting firm's Strategy & Operations practice this summer and hopefully receive a full-time offer in the fall..would that help me with admissions as well?

I have only started thinking about this, so I am relatively clueless as to what is required of me. I would appreciate any insights/advices you can offer me regarding IE admissions.

Thank you so much in advance!
