Hey...currently I attend a top 20 Engineering school and have decided that engineering isnt quite for me. So...Im switching to business and have already applied to the following schools:

-Ohio State University
-Clemson University
-University of Alabama

I was also considering applying to:

-Auburn University
-Florida State

I am planning on majoring in Finance and hope to land a job with a major broker or bank(as most people on cc)...haha I was just curious on which of the aforementioned schools offer the most in terms of business school reputation, and job/grad school placement. In other words...which school do you guys think would best set me up for success? Your feedback is greatly appreciated.

Also...if anyone has some other suggestions for schools that I should consider and their deadline is still open to transfer students please let me know!

I know SOMEONE can comment.

You can apply to IU(Kelley). Transfer students are not eligible for a Kelley direct admit. So you'll have to spend about 6 months outside the B-school (you can take business classes all this time) and then apply and get in to Kelley.

BTW, what are the chances of landing a job outside the midwest after graduating from Kelley (if you DON'T major in finance)?

Of those graduating from Kelley, 25% take jobs outside of the Midwest (data is from 2005-2006).

You can find the statistics on the breakdown of where they do take jobs here:

22% of Kelley graduates went into financial services (not investment banking), and 10% went into investment banking
