By Far Mathematical Economics will take you much further than a “business” degree. Did you know that no other country in the WHOLE planet even offers business as an undergrad degree other than the US? Thats how useless the major is. You really learn just basic stuff that doesnt and will not help you much at all. The classes are laughable. The curriculum is a joke. Which is why the most dimwitted students (go ahead flame me we all know its true) take business. Econ or even Mathetmatical Economics goes MUCH deeper than business ever will. You will take much more stats classes and actually LEARN! Imagine that?? A college where you really learn something.

^ I know for a fact that Canada offers business as an undergrad degree, since I’m from there.

If you can handle the math, definitely, mathematical economics is superior to being another business major in every way.

Math econ is most likely better but I have no idea what a business degree looks like at Richmond. Some schools have “business” as a blanket major that can be very customizable to your needs.

A Mathematical Econ major will be able to do everything that a Business major can, and FAR more on top of it. If you possess any standard human social/networking skills you will easily style on Business majors.
