Anyone else as annoyed as I am that

1) Notre Dame (***? never even heard of it), Emory, and BYU are ranked so high?

2) Berkeley, CMU are so low?

3) UVA is also too high in my opinion, but only slightly

somewhat annoyed. I agree some schools are ranked too high and don't belong. But atleast Stern looks good. If you carefully review the data, Stern is top in all categories that really count. Overall, if you compare Stern with Haas and Ross, Stern wins. I know Alexandre always post how great Ross is, I frankly don't see it with the current rankings, as Stern looks a much better school when compared head to head. Top 5 came as a big surprise except for Wharton and Sloan. The rankings maybe biased to a degree, did anyone notice the Kelley(IU) ads on the site? Kelley funded the rankings? Its their first years so they hopefully will improve in future editions. I'm glad I chose Stern, it offers to me what I see as the most comprehensive package of all the schools except for Wharton. MIT is well MIT.

Iunno...I agree that Ross is pretty good. I didn't realize that the ross essay was so important really regretful so I scribbled like a paragraph and sent it in. lol, only got into Umich honors =(

Whatever. Stern Scholars 2010!! woot!

I wouldn't take those rankings too seriously - a lot of schools didn't even officially pass on the surveys, so a lot of it is based on surveys filled out by students who happened to get the survey from somewhere and actually cared to fill it out. I know I didn't do one, lol.

Notre Dame is there for some ethics crap, and nobody actually cares about ethics. I'm kinda aggrivated about the same things listed in the first post, but Stern did kill in all the important things, and I don't think anyone actually places ND above it...UVa, Stern, Ross, and the like are all pretty even overall, depending on where you look and what specialty you're in. Tepper is defenetly way too low, and BY too high.

It will be interesting to see how this affects US News rankings.
