Ivy-League-bound Ben Knudsen [Princeton] and Veronica Cordova [Harvard] revel in new experiences. This might be a story for all those parents who want their kids to go to Ivy League schools. You know, the ones pushing for straight A's or perfect scores on the SATs.

They might want to take it easy.

Ben Knudsen and Veronica Cordova are not going to tell you that it doesn't take things like good grades and high test scores. Knudsen is tied for top of his class at the Academy for Technology and the Classics. Cordova didn't want to disclose her SAT score, but she has received only one B during her time at Santa Fe High School.

But they will tell you that how both got early admission to Ivy League schools has less to do with pushy parents than with a sustained love for learning and the desire to have new experiences.
