I am planning to major in Economics and Business.

The Business classes offered in my school are:
Accounting
Entrepreneurship
Finance
International Business
Management
Marketing
Supply Chain Management

If you are majoring in Economics, then there are specific classes you need to take based on what your degree outline is. You need to go to your school’s catalog and see what classes you need. Usually you will take some of all of the above classes. You really need to make an appointment with a counselor at your school.

Here is an example for a specific school. Each school has different degree requirements:

Though before taking your major classes, you should really start doing your General Ed as most of your major classes have General Ed prerequisites - especially reading and writing classes.

I would stay away from management or international business if they are only concentrations. Even if you major in management, the chances of you being given a management type position out of college are slim, it is better to learn about a different area of business and work your way up. IB is not very strong as a stand alone, especially as a concentration. I is better at opening up doors for you and adding versatility. From what I’ve read Marketing isn’t doing well right now, so I would stay away from it as well.
I agree with barrk123’s post about your best options. You should determine which of those three appeals to you the most, and which will best complement your economics degree.
