<p>I keep reading posts about people wanting to go into the passionless field of ibanking.</p>
<p>I'm more interested in working for the buy side, i.e. asset management, equity analyst, etc.</p>
<p>I know capital is highly scalable for fund managers, so that's probably why you don't hear about as many people being recruited for the buy side as you do for the sell side. </p>
<p>Anyhow, I'm wondering what the best path to working for a Blackrock or Fidelity is...</p>
