<p>When did you start buying things for college?</p>

<p>Is there usually a time that dorm things go on sale?</p>

<p>I just hate to rush around at the last minute and end up having to buy things I don't like.</p>

<p>I bought stuff throughout the summer so I had good options and wasn't stuck with it all. My school starts in very late September (way after everyone else) so it worked well to buy things late once they were on sale. Otherwise I'd just get it done midsummerish. </p>

<p>You don't need as much stuff as you think you do, by the way.</p>

<p>Most stores (Linen 'N Things, Bed Bath & Beyond, Target, etc.) have college sales in the summer months. Take advantage of these sales at that time.</p>

Were a lot of things sold out? Maybe if I go on the first few days, it will be fine. </p>

<p>I wish my mom would let me buy things online so that I wouldn't have to worry about sell outs.</p>

<p>Linens N Things and Bed, Bath & Beyond will send out $5 off coupons in the mail throughout the summer. Also, they will take each other's coupons. Keep collecting these and watch for sales.</p>
