By accidently sent my ACT Scores

I took the ACT this last September and got a score 2 points lower than my score in the past. The reason for this is because I spent more time studying for school rather than putting all my effort on the ACT.

Before I ever took the ACT I asked my school counselor if the ACT would automatically send if I signed up for the schools beforehand. She told me that it would only send if I pressed the “Send Scores” button. I have now figured out that was a lie.

Now the schools have a report saying that my ACT got worse even though before my best score I had a 5 point increase. Now I know that I can’t tell ACT to unsend them so I’m asking if there is a solution to all of this or if this really matters or not.

Most schools only consider your best scores. It shouldn’t be an issue if they have your strongest set of scores too.

Thanks for the fast reply!
