***Looking for a productive(but cheap!) summer activity that would look good for college apps, so once again any suggestions are welcome!

also:
SAT I-1720 (im retaking it though!)
SATII-taking in the fall (recommendations?)

THANK YOU :)

NYU seems like a reach with that SAT score. 3.4 is below average too UW. You have good EC’s though.

For SAT II’s take the ones that you feel you would do the best at.

updated sat scores-1940
chances?

Well it’s a reach but it’s possible. I assume you’re applying to CAS? If so, you might get placed in the Liberal Studies Program. I had a 3.6ish UW with 9 AP’s and a 2140 and I was placed into LSP, and your stats are below mine…so I would guess if you applied to CAS it would be a reach. Your EC’s are better than mine though.

As for summer activity, do something you’re interested in! Volunteering, part-time job, going to camp, playing sports, anything. Summer before senior year I took a gel candle making class and wrote about it in my common app essay. Don’t worry about trying to impress colleges by some fancy activity…and remember, quality > quantity so consistently doing something like habitat for humanity or lax might look better than a ton of random acitivities.
