BY NO MEANS purchase anything by Sparknotes

Utterly craptastic quality books. I purchased their book yesterday, "5 More Practice Tests for the SAT II Biology".

It was crap. There's no other word for it. The "Answers Explained" sections are mismatched with the questions from completely different sections, if not different tests (YOU'D THINK SOMEONE WOULD LOOK OVER IT?).

Also several diagrams are missing from the pages that caused sheer confusion:
"From the data, it was determined that:
A. ...
B. ...
C. ...
D. ...
E. ..."

***? WHAT DATA? I know it's too late for today but just a warning for next month.

their books are no good. I bought chem book and found it sucks. so i returned it to the book store. it wasted lots of my time

About the chem. book: what did you specifically dislike about it?

lots of errors, I mean LOTS

I agree. I bought the Sparknotes for MathIIC and other than it containing almost the same info as PR (just paraphrased), it seemed like they had a mistake every other page. You couldn't tell what numbers were mixed fractions, regular fractions, or exponents either.

math2c was pretty accurate with sparknotes

Errors in the tests or in the review? If I'm mostly interested in review, what book should I get for chem?

I got a good US history score with Sparknotes.

both, I found 3 error in the first half chapter.
Also found some in the practise test 1, I did not do others because I return it to the book store

I took math 2c and I found some errors in the book too, but it wasnt horrible or anything, I thought it was accurate-ish.

Sparknotes Physics landed me an 800.
Thought the US History book was pretty good... we'll find out for sure in a few weeks.
