So I got a letter in the mail saying that I had to take the AWPE because I am going to a UC. I really didn’t mind taking it until I found out that it was $110. I looked up the requirements and did not meet the UC writing requirements. I do not qualify for a fee waiver and there is absolutely no way for me to pay for it. I don’t have a job or any transportation, and frankly, my parents do not care for my education. 
Is it possible to take an English class at a Community College after senior year is over (during the summer) in order for me to not take the AWPE? Is there a deadline to meet the Writing requirement?
Any other options for me? Any suggestions?
