does anyone know anything about Brigham Young University-Utah?
even thoguh the rank is quite low (about 70 national), the busines rank is always top-10...so i'm wondering if it's competitive or not. also, if it's such a good business school, why is its national rank so low? and is Utah really THAT boring like what everyone says? lol

most importantly, i wanan know about its business program(undergrad) and its recruitment after graduating..thankssss

My accounting professor credited BYU and MIT's high rankings to the mature and dedicated (and incredibly bright) students that enter their programs.

However, BYU is overwhelmingly Mormon, a sect known for their inclusivity. That might not be the atmosphere you're looking for.
Good news is that a BYU degree will get a good job. Mormons have made a strong name for themselves are own or are execs at fortune 500 companies.

^ Indeed, I'm sure that BYU students are very dedicated to their education. However, if the OP is not Mormon, the campus atmosphere would probably be... not pleasant.

I agree, If you are Morman it is top notch.

But if not...stay away.
I am Catholic, and while you may not like the religion we don't throw it down peoples throats anymore like Mormans and Jehovahs do.

Titan,
But one wife is hard enough to deal with, Mormons have to deal with a dozen!

I think it mainly it has to do with the service requirements that offer a reality check to teenagers/students and the overwhelming pressure in Mormon theology towards self-reliance. To slack off or make excuses is essentially unheard of.

woahhh. are mormons tht scary?
what's the environment like in byu? cz what reli attracts me is the low price and its well-known busines programs..

The environment is Mormon. Seriously, BYU is basically defined by its Mormonism. Read up a bit on the Mormon religion and you'll get a feel for life at BYU. ;)

...for example?
cz, well im not mormon and i'm quite open to other religions. but i just don't know about this religion..and the rules and stuff :S

You can't just "convert" to Mormonism like other religions, it is a very strict sect. Someone who is Mormon would be the best source. But basically my mormon friends aren't allowed to: drink caffeine, watch R rated movies, drink any alcohol or do any drugs, have sex outside of marriage, use any offensive language, etc.....

I'm sure the BYU campus follows very similar rules.
