C-C-Chances, anyone?

Okay, here are my stats:

Grading Scale at school: A= 100-95, B= 94-90, C=89-85, D=84=80, F=79 below
Because of this, my school considers all non A.P. Classes to be 'honors' classes.

Unweighted G.P.A.: 3.65
Weighted G.P.A.: 3.75

Yeah, my G.P.A. isn' t the highest...but dude, its hard to get above a 95 or above in every class.

Yo your school's grading scale sucks! A 79 or below is an F?! What! You'll love Tulane's grading scale; it'll give you room to breathe.

youre much better prepared than I was for tulane's grading system...at our HS, 90+ is an A, whereas in many classes at Tulane, you hafta make at least a 93 or 95 to get that A. From 90-93 or 90-95, depending on the class, is an A minus, and that gives you like a 3.666 GPA, so its sort of difficult to get a high GPA. Keep in mind, though, that Tulane's a private university, and not a public one.
