<p>I was in a very similar situation as you. I had a 3.87 and got a D in calculus during my final spring semster at a jc. I ended up retaking it during summer, which was a lot harder and got a C. The good news is I still ended up being accepted to USC Marshall.</p>
<p>Maybe you could send admissions a short letter explaining your situation and how you're working to get around this obstacle/reassure them that you're still a hardworking, qualified candidate despite this shortfall.</p>
