I know by GPA is low, but do you think my test scores and heavy courseload will make up for it?

Thanks!

I'd think in for sure.

You already asked the chance question back in Dec 14, didn't you?

yea dallas but i'm looking for more replies (I also increased my SAT score substantially so that may be a factor)

Forgot to mention-

I have a legacy (mother, grandfather, uncle) and i'm an active member of MENSA

I think your chance is definitely improved by your recent test score. Great job!

Your legacy status alone would help little because you are already competing for an in-state spot (as an MN candidate). If you are keen to attend Wisc, try having your mom to get the local UW alum club to make a phone call on your status. Let your UW contacts know that you worked really hard on the SAT to make up class rank so you can be competitive. In other words, express your strong interest to attend Wisconsin if admitted.

If they turn you down, armageddon is approaching.

Good luck and have a great time at UW if you choose to be a Badger.
