<p>what are my chances at uci?
and i have to take physics sat2 in december for engineering right?</p>

<p>My gpa was way lower and i only had 25 hours of community service, so you have a great chance.</p>

<p>There is an honors program at uci called the campuswide honors program. <a href="http://www.honors.uci.edu%5B/url%5D"&gt;www.honors.uci.edu&lt;/a> . No requirements but you'll need a high GPA and test scores. I don't know what the average scores are for people in it, but just think that most people in it got into Berkeley, UCLA (although I know several here who got into CHP at UCI, but not UCLA) etc. You can't apply for it though, they will select you or not based on your regular application. I don't know the admit numbers but there are approximately 160 freshmen each year in the program out of 4,000ish freshmen at UCI.</p>

<p>I think you could get in to UCI. That's where I want to go, but I'm scared I won't get in. My weighted GPA is a 3.8 =( and I have a 2000 on the SATs. I'm in mock trial, JSA, and Asian club. I also volunteer a lot at the local musuem. Is that good enough?</p>

<p>sarang, i think you have a solid chance. my sister got accepted into (and is attending) uci with a 3.8W and 1200 old SAT</p>
