I plan on applying to UCSB as a econ/accounting transfer this fall. However, I received a C in my microecon class which is a prereq. I have A's for all the prereqs except microecon. How badly will this affect me?

don’t trip. I got the same grade when taking it first semester of community college. It definitely works against you, but I got in UCSB for that major Econ & acct

Just TAG to UCSB if you have above a 3.2 and their TAG requirements done so that they can’t reject you. But even if you can’t TAG, you should be fine for regular admission if all of your other stuff is in check.

Thanks for your replies!

I was wondering what major you applied to UCI as, Irvine2014?

I am definitely going to do TAG for UCSB. Hopefully they release the requirements soon!

Me too dude. Don’t trip!
Just do good in the other ones.

Nothing you can do now, focus on your future classes and apply for TAG.

As long your GPA is above 3.2, then you should be fine. UCSB requires you to have like minimum of 3.0 of your pre-reqs classes before transferring. Just try not getting another C on your pre-reqs and get above 3.2 on your overall GPA for TAG, and you are good to go!
Off topic: @Stephen91, I didn’t know you post on this forum Stephen. Congrats on your admission to CAL bro xD We’re finally done with PCC after this semester!
