Hello. I am a junior. I am taking AP Biology and my first semester grade is a "C". I am also thinking to major in Biology when I go to college. Also, I have too many B's. Maybe about 4 B's. That gives me a low GPA... I don't even think I can get into college anymore. With a "C" in Biology, no college will accept me as a Biology major student... Also, my school is very competitive and most students are trying to take Biology or some sort of related science course. Am I really screwed? I'm extremely worried right now, and all I can hope is a better second semester.

Wow this is so crazy. I got a C in AP Biology this semester as well as a junior however I have no plans to major in Biology. I have all As except for 3 Bs on my report card from freshman year so I hope this doesn’t harm me in the admissions process next year.

Anyways, good luck and study hard! I know I’ll be doing the same this semester.

It depends on what school you are trying to get in to. Your GPA and ACT/SAT may be just fine for most colleges except those at the very top. AP Bio as a junior is pretty good, so I wouldn’t worry that much about it.
