C in APUSH bad for college??

<p>my school is just wrapping up the first semester and i think i might get a c in apush...
i really want to get into a good school..
i admit tht ive been slacking the first semester but i started to work hard in the latter half of the first semester</p>

<p>can getting an a in the second semester, 4 or 5 in the ap exam, and a high score on the sat subject test waive my (possible) c in first semester? :/</p>
