How does a c+ in level II calc look when applying to med school? The teacher was pretty terrible and doesnt reflect my overall academic performance at all. I mean, i got an A in both semesters of chem and have a 3.6 right now...as a freshman.

i dont know...but which would be better, taking Calc I and II in college or taking Statistics and Some biology-based math course?

........? im not sure of the point you are trying to make?

I don't think hes answering your question.. hes asking another one.

I'm not sure, but isn't that what the personal statement is for? To explain discrepancies in your academic record

Well a C+ is never good but as long as your overall/science GPA is good, then it won't be a problem.

I never know what to say in these "I got a C, am I screwed?" threads. Of course, C's aren't going to look good. At the same time, no one C is going to destroy your chances. I figure that'd be obvious.

haha I suppose I know that it doesnt destroy my chances. Its obvious that its something with the course because Im getting an A+ in chemistry and am doing very well in everything else. I didnt just slack in one course. It just worries me as a premed...just like everything else you do in college. It all somehow makes you think about med school.
