:( I feel so empty right now. I just learned that I got a C+ in my Algebra 2 class.

Do I still have a chance for ED 1 Journalism? I am trying my best to get all As and that one C for this second semester . Last semester I got a horrid 3.5 unweighted GPA.

If I get a 2100 on the SAT, a 4/5 on my two AP exam scores and my dedicated extracurriculars, do you think I have a chance? I will even take LSP if it means that I get into NYU. I go to a competitive school that does not do student ranks. I am very passionate about journalism and I have my extracurriculars to show that.

Senior year I am planning on taking 4 APs (English Lit, Gov, Enviromental Science + Psychology), Finite Math, Web Design, and Photography. I already have taken 3 years of French. (Quelle catastrophe...)

Thanks for reading guys.

Also, I forgot to add, I am in two APs this year, APUSH and English Language. I got a B in APUSH & an A in English last semester, but this semester I got both As for both classes. I won’t know my AP exam scores till July… If any of you NYU aficionados are out there, please let me know if there is still a chance for me. Thanks.

There is obviously a chance. One C won’t kill you but it sure won’t help you. Just apply and don’t stress over it. Just try your best.

@Euglena Thanks for your encouraging words! I am going to try my best on the SAT this October so I can make up for my subpar GPA. I just found out today that I will have a B in French (ugh) and a B in Chem. Why is that my regular, college prep classes are SO much harder then the AP classes? :P

Do you guys think there’s a possability of me getting LSP’ed? Maybe I should apply directly? Sorry for so many questions, I’m just so worried now.
