I just received a C+ in the last of the series in OChem!!! My other Ochem grades are B+ and a B.

This teacher was extremely unfair by curving our lab grades down. I received a 95% in lab (which was 20% of our grade) but according to him that was a C since the average lab grade was an A. I'm so mad at him because he never made this clear at the beginning of the course, and he consistently sold the idea that everyone can get an A in the class. Never have I been in a chem class that curved lab grades.

So...my question is, how will this affect my chances at med school? I've talked with him repeatedly and he wont change my grade. I'll be a junior next year and I currently have a 3.5 GPA.

The C+ in organic chemistry is not going to demolish your chances to get into medical school. A medical student here at my large midwestern university received C's in the entire organic chemistry sequence as an undergraduate, and she was a chemistry major! Furthermore, you can always get a little revenge on that C+ if you can demonstrate favorably on the MCAT your knowledge in the biological sciences. If your other grades are excellent, and should you earn a solid score on the MCAT, then I think you are in a good position to be a competitive applicant. Good luck.

I disagree with this 1 billion %. GRADE INFLATION IS WHAT IS NOT FAIR, what is meaningful to med school adcoms is how you did in a particular class relative to everyone else hence the standard distribution, if he were not to curve your grades would mean nothing.

C+ isn't the end of the world, but don't do it again. Too many of those in any class and your GPA will go down and adcoms will question your academic commitment.

Honestly, I wouldn't freak out too much. You obviously performed well, but got smashed by the curve. Unless your school's policy is to curve all classes like that, then you'll probably do fine in the future.
