C in Physics Honors?! Should I freak?

Hello everyone (:

Well, i've always been a good student. I'm a Junior (HS), all 9-11 i've gotten A's and B's (usually 3-5 Bs a year) I have all honors and 2 AP, 1 dual enrollment. GPA (unweighted) is 3.8
GPA (weighted) is 4.5
However, this year i have Physics Honors... the quarter will end in 1 day and i talked to the teacher...there's nothing I can do. I have a 76, potential 77. It's all because of a test which I failed (50%) which dropped me from an A. All the rest of my classes are A's except in Alg II but that might go up to an A because I aced a test.

But here's the question...
Do you think this will ruin my college opportunities? I WILL get straight A's the rest of the quarters (2-4) (I usually get A's and B's the 1st semester and then straight A's the last semester)

Is a C like 2 B's? Do you think it will lower my GPA?
Also, if I get an A next quarter in the class, will the semester grade be a B?

Thank you very very very much to whoever answers this, (:
God bless.

As long as you can manage an A or a B the next quarter you will be ok. When colleges see your transcripts, they only see the semester grades, they do not see quarter grades.

Thanks! I was actually able to speak again with my teacher and it went up a B ! So happy :)
