C+ in Physics...nooooooo

Everyone's talking about massacres in admissions processes, but I got slaughtered in my AP Physics class. It's horrible!! Four people were crying in class as he passed out reports for second semester.

Well. Goodbye college.

It just makes no sense for the hardest stretch of the year to be in second term, when so much is going on and you honestly feel like just curling up and resuming the fetal position for the rest of the year.

Meh. goes off to eat a cookie

Wait, are these your midterm (1st semester) grades? Or just the first part of 2nd term?

i think they are on a trimester schedule....so MYR include both first and secon trimester i believe...maybe im wrong

im sure itll be fine =D

Nope. We operate on terms. First term I had a B+ in Physics, and then rotational mvmt rolled around. I'm not sure whether or not colleges see the average or both grades but still...

it's slightly disheartening.

Cookiemom sends molasses-ginger-cherry cookies to tebro. Make some tea!

I may be joining you, though not in physics. Seeing as I completed 3 out of 4 assignments, that gives me a 75 average at most...

ive already joined you....

Luckily, my school doesn't offer AP Physics, so I didn't have the opportunity to get a C+ in this class... though as a prospective physics major, I shouldn't be saying this ;)

yeah, i feel you...i'm lucky that i took my physics class pass/honors/fail, or else i'd be right there with you.

thanks cookie mom--I've already poured a half-gallon of peppermint tea down my throat. munches on cookie

I'm seriously reconsidering my major...I'll need Physics, and I just don't "think" Physics. If it makes any sense, I construct--I don't deconstruct the way that Physics requires. So trying to do Physics is like cramming something real big and round through a square doorway.

lucky suburbian...

Yeah. I pesonally think that we should leave physics to the privileged (haha) few, cough cavalier302.

If you ever become a famous physicist, this could be one of those stories. Like, "Hey, ----- got a C+ in physics when he was in high school, and he won the nobel prize."

Pretty sure that several really accomplished scientists failed school at one point or another.

Einstein comes to mind ;).

You are all RD, then?

yep. deferred from P-ton early. oi vey.
