C in the toughest class or b/higher in honors?

My school has a ridiculously hard set of classes for senior year for the advanced math/science kids where we basically do all of bc and physics c in one joint period by the end of november and then just grind review. it’s tough and rewarding come May, but im gonna end up with c’s (and a mental breakdown or two) in both classes for the end of the quarter on 11/1. while im personally ok with it im terrified of what colleges will think, so i can drop out now and bump my grades up to at least b’s in ab calc and honors physics. I dont plan on majoring in engineering/math, so there’s that too. I’ve got a few really selective schools on my list (brown, Gtown), and i was wondering if you all think i should drop the classes or not. I’d be going from 9 aps total to 8, and while i think i can get my grades salvageable for when the rd deadlines for the tougher schools come around i can’t be certain of it. So basically, for EA normal schools and RD ivy level stuff, should I take the less rigorous schedule and get b’s and a’s or stick with the harder one and settle with a c? As the quarter closes in a week or so I’ve got to decide for tomorrow in order to get my grades up for early applications. thanks

IMHO, I believe a B in honors class looks better because an honors class is still challenging (compared to On-Level) and it shows you did better than average, oppose to a C where you’re just meeting the standard.

I would agree with JPGator98.
